This picture was taken when they came to visit me in Sparwood B.C. As you can see my dad had his trusty super 8 camera in his hand. He took a lot of film with it. They have both passed on and needless to say I miss them. The story  on how they met was through my dad's sister Martha. My mother and Aunt Martha worked together as nurses in Wndsor at Hotel Dieu Hospital. My mother worked there for 35yrs as a nursery nurse caring for newborns.  I'm not sure of the year my mother came to Windsor. It must have been around 1950 if she started at Hotel Dieu as soon as she arrived in Windsor because she retired in 1984-85.My father was doing factory work at American Standard around that time. They both seamed like the bachelor/career types, so I believe that Aunt Martha set them up.
